Description

In Tunnel of Light, Guirado explores the threshold between physical existence and the metaphysical realm. The composition centres on a luminous rupture — a passage that appears to break through the surface of reality, suggesting a transition beyond the visible world.

Rather than depicting landscape in a traditional sense, the work presents a state of passage — one that evokes the movement between life, death, and what lies beyond. Light becomes both structure and symbol, guiding the eye inward while dissolving the boundaries of form.

Rooted in Guirado’s Intrarealist philosophy, the painting reflects his interest in metaphysics and spiritual continuity — where the external world gives way to deeper, unseen dimensions. This theme of transformation and transcendence places the work firmly within a contemporary dialogue around consciousness, perception, and the nature of reality.
